Xbox Halo vs PS4 -? Bit out of touch here!
Discussion
About to get either an Xbox or PS4 and cant decide which. I really liked Halo (played on a PC) but see thats Xbox only, is there something as good on the PS4?
It appears that the PS4 is the better console, but what compares to Halo as a game on the PS4? are there any other must play Xbox only games that would tip the balance back to Xbox?
I havent really played much recently, my PS3 is basically totally unused, but hey, gotta have some fun. Plus I have some ps3 games so thought I'd stick with it.
The other problem I have is that I previously noticed on some games I couldnt have 2 games running, like if I was playing something and wanted to save at a position, then let my mrs play with her own character, she couldnt save without wiping mine off. Just wondered about that with first person shooters etc?
I'm not really into the whole online thing, just want to chill out and blast some crap.
At some point I'll probably end up with a 4k tv too, so would be cool if it supported it.

I prefer Destiny to Halo, but they're very different games. Destiny has a longer term appeal for me, but it's not for everyone. Halo: Guardians is also very good and dare I say it, the best Halo in a while (the best Halo since Reach, I think). Halo being what it is, there is nothing like it on the PS4. Not to say the PS4 doesn't have it's own good games, but if you're looking for Halo now and in the future, you'll be needing an Xbox.
Or do what I did, get both and enjoy the best of both worlds!

Soooo, which do you play more?Or do what I did, get both and enjoy the best of both worlds!
Do you play online with friends alot? If so then get then one that they all have.
At this point in time I'd go for a PS4 as my friends/family play, I also prefer the game selection and the UI. However Xbox one has old 360 games and Forza which are big pulls also.
Having watched my sibling play Destiny you will be able to while away many a hour on it so longevity won't be an issue for you, it also "feels" alot like Halo when I had a go.
One final thing I'd say is which controller do you find more comfortable? Having owned every version of the PS I find that controller easier to hold and use for extended periods of time whereas the Xbox triggers are too thin to be comfortable, especially if you are holding one down for a long period (e.g. a straight).
