Jaguar memory seat question

Hi to all.
I have a pair of XJ8 front memory seats from a 1998 YM that I want to use outside on a frame for the workshop.
I have the passenger seat working fine but I can't get that driver seat working. It would be nice to get it working as its far too large to fit into a kit car! Any help appreciated.

When you say the passenger seat works presumably this is still in the car as I believe these seats work on canbus and will not work outside the car without all the relevant can data
