2016 Roubaix SL4 Pro

Was browsing in a LBS today and saw a pretty stunning ROUBAIX SL4 PRO DISC RACE UDI2. A quick chat and they offered it to me for £4K instead of the listed £5K, may still be a little more wiggle room as I also spotted a nice Gore-Tex jkt that I could try and get thrown in. Seems like a good deal so long as it fits, 56cm and I'm 6ft. Any downsides? Bike will likely replace my Canyon Aeroad SL 9.0 which is a little harsh riding for my old bones and dodgy back.
I am 6ft 1 and have a 58cm Roubaix bog standard and a SL4 S Works Tarmac, both fit fine. I have friends who are a little shorter and they ride 56cm so I assume it will be fine size wise.
Only thing I would say its a lot of money for a non s works framed bke.

Does this have the non-standard roval wheels, the different offset on the cassette? I wouldn't touch a bike with that (and yes I'm aware there isn't a common standard yet).
£4k is a lot, especially as bigger tyres and "sportive" geometry make frame material and frame inserts a bit of a waste of time.

Got a Roubaix on test at the moment.
Personally I thought it was average at best, but it might suit you.
The headtube is enormous and the fork is tall. If you want a up high riding position, it will be OK.
Downhill the handling is a bit slow, mostly because of the tall head tube and slacker HA. You do get used to it, but it can't change direction as quickly as other bikes.
Upsides - Very comfortable. Probably the most comfortable bike out there. Feel stable too, especially at speed.
Strange choice of bike after an Aeroad mind - but from what you said, maybe its a good one.

The Aeroad was my first road bike and having had a Canyon MTB I saw them as good value so went with that. It's a great bike but probably well beyond my abilities. My Felt X bike is far more comfortable so I figured something like the Roubaix would be a good replacement. I am not a big fan of Specialized as I realise you are paying a lot just for the name but given the discount being offered it seems like a pretty good deal. Pulled the trigger on the SL4 Pro.....and got the wife a matching one to replace her Giant Avail. Also picked up a couple of Gore Gore-Tex jackets and managed about 20% discount across the lot. Pretty happy with that and brilliant service from the guys in the shop, popping back down next Saturday for fitting and collection.
Mate has also said he will have my Aeroad of me for £1500 so, result.
