Probably the wrong forum but jewellery related.

Does anyone know the cheapest place in the world to buy Tiffany rings?

Thanks.

Second hand from what I hear, huge drop in value as you walk out the store.

Purchased one a few weeks back, couldn't get a deal on the one I wanted - we don't discount Sir.

So I reserved it knowing it's what she would be pleased with and thought no more of it until 24hrs before I'm due to collect. I receive a call from Lal at the Bond Street store (lovely chap) saying someone else had sold it on his day off!

By this point I'm quite disappointed and keen to know what he's going to do to put it right. He was unbelievably apologetic and devoted the rest of his day to resolving the problem.

Long story sideways I was offered two alternatives with about 20% saving due to their error. In the end I chose a piece that was slightly larger, better colour and clarity than my first choice for a price I was happy with. I spent more than I planned to but got much more than I thought I'd be able to.

The look on her face this morning was priceless and worth every penny.

Do it.

Better than spending an extra £8k on something that is identical in looks and residual value

Crap picture, she's was over the moon

Why wouldn't everyone buy them from the airport if its vat free? Obviously you need a flight somewhere, but if you're spending a fair bit (which many who are considering Tiffany will be given they don't seem to get interesting until about 5 grand) surely the saving is easily worth it?
