Hi,
My Suzuki Swift (2000) is having problems when damp. Occassionally, it won't start (turns over fine). And when starting off with a cold engine, it can become reluctant if I need to put in some torque. e.g. if I try driving up a nearby hill in 3rd (which is usually fine), then engine splutters, and I have to change down into 2nd, or even 1st to get up.

Any thoughts?

Thanks.

I had this on one of my old cars. WD40 sprayed all over the ignition components cured it.

And then if that helps you know then need to start changing HT leads/coils/carrying out proper waterproofing etc until the problem is actually sorted rather than disguised.

sounds like it might need plug leads , dizzy cap etc , might be an idea to get it properly serviced with some good quality parts
