So I'm in the process of signing up for my classes for next quarter, and I decide to verify my choices with the sheet the counselor gave me in October. He told me that all I needed to graduate was a PE class, a total of ten math credits, and a lab class. I'm in a five credit math now, along with the PE. Now I'm looking over this(rather complex) checklist and it appears the man buered things rather badly.

By what he told me(confirmed as he wrote it and again when I left his office) I now should only need ten credits until my Associates degree. It's actually more like 25!

I don't understand, its like he overlooked a whole catagory or so! Now this changes things, theres no way I can possibly take 25 credits in one quarter. The real problem is that all my university applications have been filled out on the basis of me having my Associates degree in June of 2005. As though I wasn't stressed enough about that!

I pray that he will recognize the fault as his own, this is really no joke. It should be on record that I visited him, I guess tommorrow I'll go see if he's around. If he's not its on to his superior...

I really don't need this right now...

There is only one person who will look out for you and that is YOU. That is why I took the time to figure out everything for myself when at uni, I even managed to shorten and broaden my degree a bit with some crafty 'points' engineering .

Oh yeah, I really should have looked before now. The blame is partly mine, I should know better than to trust some guy I don't know just because he has a position of some authority.
