Monster beetle issue

I've built up a monster beetle with my lad over xmas and we've been testing today.

It's all running apart from under load then the receiver goes from a green led to a red and beeps. Only switching off and on again will clear it. Running off the ground allows full throttle with no issues so it appears the ESC is calibrated.

It's a tamiya tble-02s ESC and a etronix pulse radio set.

I believe the ESC should be powering the Rx but there is no seperate fly lead from the ESC to the Rx just the connection on channel 2.

What am i doing wrong ? We have jumps to build!

Tx gets its power down the signal lead.

Check there isn't a lipo mode on the esc, it sounds like lipo cut out function if your using nimh batteries.
