Anyone have any cool solutions for storing Lego, aside from the usual Ikea boxes approach? The kids have more and more of it to keep tidy!

We got a huge drawstring fabric bag thing that lays out flat on the floor for building, then when they're finished you pull the strings around the edges and the whole thing forms a bag.

I've got a 8'x10' shed.... OK it's a hobby-room/garden-office as well. I use lots of ice-cream or margarine tubs as well as the plastic storage units that you can get built into a frame on castors. I've also got some of the Lego rectangular tubs that some of the bulk sets came in.

Depends how much you've got and how easily you want to access it or whether you want it out on display. Sub-divide into zip-lock bags.

If yiu do an image search on google for 'lego storage' loads of ideas.

Build one, from Lego (with superglue so it's child proof) and gives you an excuse to buy more!
