I found this at bottom of my Christmas tree - any ideas what it is ?

Unfortunately it was dead and that was the only photo taken and was quickly chucked into hedges by wife. It did look a bit Gecko like but unlike anything I had seen before in UK, more like the lizards you see climbing up walls when on holiday - was wondering if it was something that had been shipped in with the trees. It was also translucent, not as dark as google images of common lizard...

Yes, having googled it, it doesn't look anything more interesting than that....but the wife does t know that and freaked her out by telling her there are some lizards that secrete poisonous toxins from their skin. She has been taking her pulse every fifteen minutes for the last hour 😂 - I will tell her in a minute, or so...
