Doors won't stay shut
Discussion
Now this annoying, drive to the pub and have a nice lunch, get back to the car, open the passenger door, passenger gets in, closes the door and bugger, it will not stay shut, tried alarming and dis-alarming the car, and all other switch options. Get back home with passenger holding the door shut, with a very aching arm, take off the chrome cover plate and find the door latch is lose, re-tighten the allen bolts, general clean up, micro switch seems to be working okay, clicks open etc., and still the latch doesn't lock shut. It's getting dark by now so decide to leave it for another day.
Back to the car a few days later, gaffer tape the door shut so I can have a short run, back to the garage, selt belt strap gets caught in drivers door, open the door to release it and.......no, I don't believe it, drivers door won't stay shut and passenger window will not move ARGGHHHHH!
Any suggestions??? I can't believe this hasn't happened to anyone else, although a 'Search' didn't reveal any other similar tales of woe.
Happy New Year!!

a friend had similar issue with his Tamora, try un-plugging the appropriate ECU an plug back in. in a Tamora think it was located left side of passenger footwell.
This. In my Tuscan I unplugged both of the ECU's under the centre tunnel. Then reconnect. Put both windows down as far as they will go and shut the doors. Then lock the car and the windows should go up and have reset.

Thanks guys, I did check the red emergency pulls and they were pushed right in. I'll certainly try unplugging the ECUs which sounds like a logical solution.
The car's kept in a satellite garage so I'll have to wait until the weather turns a little dryer before attempting a further fix.
Thanks again!
