I am getting sick of taking an x-box game out of it's box, putting it in my 360, getting all comfy just to be told the disk is unreadable. I have almost the entire back catalogue of COD games and always save them to my hard drive but for some reasons I have gone through a couple of x-boxes over the past year or two so had to reinstall them on my new machine. Problem is every time I try installing my games they can't be read by my new x-box. It's flipping ridiculous, they live almost their entire lives cases.

Any one know of any decent ways of reconditioning them so I can install them on the HD please?

Tried one of those from ebay on a badly scratched disk and it just made it worse. Found a bloke on ebay that repairs them for about £5. Sent it to him, came back a couple of days later looking like new. Would recommend something like that myself

Thanks for the tip Tes.

I have polished mine with toothpaste then treated with polish. They worked after this so I could copy to the HD.

CD cleaning kit from Maplins did the job for me.
