Couldn't find the answer in a forum search.

Was the type pressure monitoring system standard for a 2012 V12V? I can't find any indication that it exists on my "new" car while cycling through the right side message centre. Nor does it flash "Tyre Pressures Ok" on startup like it did on my V8V. Thanks is advance.

its the box with 4 lights under the glovebox - they didn't update to the in-dash system for the V12, despite doing so for the V8S a few years earlier, until the V12VS

I'm sure the 2013MY V12V I test drove had the new system.

Indeed you are right - it's there just the same as in my old car. Looks like they updated the manual to nclude the new system, but not the system itself.

No no no! It's not! It was this beauty but for various reasons it never quite happened. Better to have loved and lost ……….

Correct

In answer to the point made above, my car is a 2013 MY and has the old system - I'm fairly certain it was only when they went to the V12VS that the new system came in on the V12, despite 2 year older V8s having the newer system. But as you say, the manual shows differently...
