Can anybody recommend a "local" Indy to North Herefordshire?
Discussion
Hi there,
I've got an MY00 996C4 manual. It's had a Hartech rebuild due to the dreaded bore score a couple of years ago.
However, I've had a double-whammy now. Firstly, it's service is due. All planned for until the 2nd issue hit me today whilst driving to work....... misfiring.
Stuck my code reader on it and misfiring on Cylinders 1 & 3. In this cr@ppy weather, coil-packs are dying out.
My issue is that I'm with the AA and the car will need to low-loaded to an Indy. While Hartech are great, they're a long way away from Hereford. I would like to find some one closer to home tbh.
I've had recommendations to use Dave Griffiths Racing up in Shrewsbury - a LOT closer and good.
Can anybody give me some (urgent) details or recommendations? Hopefully getting the car moved in the next day...... just need to decide where it's going
Thanks in advance,
Dan

To be fair if its just two coilpacks, any garage can do this. For a DIYer on the drive its 30mins under the car. I wouldn't travel to a Porsche Indy for this.
I would change the whole bank too, not leave the one in the middle. The plugs and coil packs are cheap enough. The guard comes off with two 10mm bolts, and the coilpacks are staring you in the face. No Porsche knowledge required.
