Wolseley 6/110 - Any owners able to help?

My grandad will celebrate his 100th birthday in February and I'm arranging a trip to the Donington collection ahead of his party on the 27th Feb. He was an engineer all his working life, latterly owning his own car repair workshop very much in the mend rather than replace school of thought.

The point of this thread relates to his most treasured car which was a Wolseley 6/110 which he owned for many years until it finally fell to terminal tinworm. It would be great if any owners out there were able to give him a ride to Donington. Of course I would cover all expenses and make a contribution to your chosen charity.

Good luck ...... there are very few 6/110's left. Was chatting to an owner of one a few months back, and I'm sure he said it was just down to a single figure number left (6 or 9 I think, but memory's gone a little fuzzy on the number)
A black 6/110 was the first car I ever went in, at a few days old on the way home from the maternity hospital

Hmmm may have to rethink as they are such a rare beast. I too have fond memories of his which was a dark blue example with the best leather seats I have ever sat in, although they did burn your legs on a hot day

My Dad didn't exactly own the black one I was transported in back from maternity hospital......as it looked like these ones

The 6/99 (59-61) is virtually identical to look at.

Handsome beasts - I wouldn't give a four cylinder Farina garage space, but a nice VDP 3 Litre................
