Hi all.

My wife is in the RAF and is posted to Gibraltar end of Feb for 3 years.
Has anyone any experience of civilian jobs available over there?
Happy to do anything at all (apart from bar work/waiting on) but I am an NVQ Level 3, and time served, HGV Technician.
So I'll probably end up doing something vehicle related.
Ideally, I'd like a job in Spain so I have to learn fluent Spanish, but unsure of the reality of making the crossing over to work and back home again, so twice a day.
I've been before, when I was a young child on a family holiday.

Thanks in advance, Stuart.

PS - don't know why I included that penultimate line...!

Gibraltar wink

Was it last summer where the lines of traffic were a few hours long to cross the border?

There are a lot of offshore betting companies and generally quiet a bit of building work, sure you will find something.

Thanks for the replies, Gents. Keep them coming...!
As I've said, I'm happy to do anything at all.
By means of an update, I've sent my CV to a recruitment firm there today.
