Hello hello ladies and gents,

Looking for some assistance for the PH community regarding the new mk 2 Audi Q7. I am looking at a night black s line with the 3.0tdi with 272 ps, spec wise is going to be standard a line spec + 5 arm turbine wheels and reverse camera,
What I would like to know is regarding the media system, with the standard system is it possible to play media from mobile phone by plugging in or is it only aux?

Anybody running one of these beasts? How do you rate them?

I just picked mine up a few days ago, its an SE Business which I got because I didn't want black leather and wanted the upgraded seats which aren't available in this configuration with S-Line.

My car has both the Smartphone Interface and the Audi Connect option, but I believe as standard it comes with 2 USB ports and an Aux in the Centre Armrest, and 2 SD Card Slots in the Glovebox.

The USB ports will run any sort of media device (iPod, iPhone, USB Stick) and you shouldnt' need anything else.

Had ours since the end of Sept and have been very pleased with it - we bought a stock car and ended up with the 21" wheels as well, was worried about ride and noise but shouldn't have, it is very comfortable and quiet.

Huge improvement over the old model, we had 2 of the previous gen ones over 7 years so plenty of experience with them. The weight reduction makes a massive difference to the handling and fuel economy, regularly see 30mpg even on short runs.

Would recommend the air suspension as a must, pretty impressed with the virtual dash as well. Only thing we really miss on ours is the sunroof but wasn't a deal breaker.

Can't comment on the phone connection as ours came with the phone box but connects to iPhones fine through the USB connectors in the arm rest storage.

Happy to answer any specific questions.

Cheers,

Phil
