MK5 Golf GTI / ED30 wanted

Hi Guys,

I've been looking for another GTI for a short while now, and I keep on finding cars which have been fettled with or they're a really basic spec.

I understand there are a few MK5 GTI owners on these pages so was wondering whether I could just ask and see if anybody would be selling their pride and joy anytime soon.

Ideally I'd like an Ed30 but they are quiet pricey and for my budget (£8k) I get some very high mileage examples. So therefore I am looking at standard MK5 GTIs'.

The spec the GTI should have at the very least is as follows:
FSH (specialist or VW) - MUST HAVE
DSG - MUST HAVE
Xenons - MUST HAVE
Leathers - Would be nice, though I can live without these

The rest I am not so fussed about.

Haha - I take it you dont drive around the M25 twice a day

And anyway - I've had a manual before - Lovely thing, but I want to / need to try the DSG too
