Insurance renewal conundrum

I've checked askmid and although my insurance had expired, I appear to be insured. I've checked my bank statement and can't see a debit for it.

In addition no new policy docs have been sent in the mail. The email account which was in place whrn I originally took the insurance out is dead, so I can't see if the docs have been sent via email.

I did get a notification from a comparison site thanking me for insuring. When I try to log in my details aren't recognised and I have no policy number to hand over to access the documents and they won't respond to emails to them.

How can I find out who appears to be insuring me?

Thanks! Coughed up £4 and all was revealed. My policy doesn't actually expire until February so I don't know why I received a 'thanks for renewing' email...anyway, never mind.

....Or ring the insurer you think you have renewed with. Simple enough.
