Just a heads-up really, and no doubt way too late for many people, but the sky seems particularly clear and stable tonight, ideal for taking astronomy photos, even in urban West Yorkshire (so far as it goes). Sadly I don't have a tripod to hand, but this is a (braced) hand held photo of Orion's sword, with the M42 galaxy in the middle. Apologies for camera shake etc, but it is at 200mm and a 1 second exposure.
