Looks too small to be the DB11 but I could be wrong. More like an updated Vantage perhaps?

I'd assume the body panels are probably just slapped on there with the new underpinnings. 2016 will be an exciting time for AM that's for sure.

From what we can now see, I think the rear design will closely follow the DB10.

Can anyone remember how many prototype DB11 cars have been registered? I recall it was quite a large number. The UK AML new registrations for 2015, were about 10% up on 2014. That is the first increase for a number of years. I am wondering whether the DB11 prototypes, made a significant contribution to that.

Interesting scoop at the rear of the side windows... Sort of thing a mid-engine would need...

Jon, I think they would have had the benefit in Q4 of the DB9 GT Bond edition cars that they put through manufacturing together and quite a few GT12 cars as well. I believe Exeter (closing) had a very good Q4 helped by delivering two Bond edition cars, two GT12 and a Vulcan - the only one I believe that was sold by the dealer network. May go some way to helping to explain the increase.

Autocar tweeted the cover of an upcoming issue today and on the cover was a new Aston, which I assume is/was the DB11 (couldn't tell if it was a photo or a rendering). It's a stunner but it's different from those camouflaged car photos. Similar but more extreme at the front end and I dont remember seeing buttresses at the back end.

That's definitely DB10 from the doors back, and the wheels obviously.

That picture has been kicking around for ages. Its a not so great (pretty terrible) photoshop with the a shrunk AM front end inside the bumper. It does look pretty sweet though.

Stunning! Let's hope that's accurate.

Hate the mirror mounts wrapping around the A-posts -- makes the A-posts look broken.

Of course with all the gubbins disguising it you cant really tell but i think this new shape will still be a evolution from the present shapes. After all dont mess up a good thing. To that end, im happy my "old" 4.7 wont have aged much when the new one comes out.

The latest (rumour mill) understanding, is that the DB11 will not initially have an M-B engine.

A smaller capacity AML V12 turbocharged is expected.
The reference to 5200cc does appear to fit this expectation (present capacity 5935cc).

The addition of a turbocharger, after a capacity reduction of only 12%, presumably gives an option of considerably more bhp (depending upon the amount of boost) ?

Looking at rear details of the spyshot, my guess is it will have the DB10 look rear design. The Christmas card appears to confirm that.

Engine will be a twin-turbo 5.2L V12 based on the existing AML engine. Someone at Aston told me.
