Golf gti cambelt & waterpump.

Whats the average cost for one of these to be supplied and fitted? Its done 101k but had a cam change and tensioners at 61k. Better to be safe than sorry i guess.

The kit and the pump is probably around £120 so maybe another £100 to £150 labour on top for a decent back street mechanic?
Id guess at closer to £400 from a dealer.

VW dealer charge £349 for cambelt /tensioners or £ 399 including water pump ( if required).

Good value really to get it done by VW, you'd save very little doing it at an independant
