Circle Line Pubcrawl

So it's going to be Fri April 8th, with a few mates, starting at about 11AM. There's 27 stations, so starting and finishing in the same pub, with a half in a pub near each station, gives us a 14 pint day.
Anyone here done it before? Anyone tried with pints instead of halves?

Sounds a laugh. 14 pints over 12 hours shouldn't be too bad. IIRC there's a monopoly version as well.

Trust me, you will not know how you got home at the end of it and chances are you may not even get home!!

A lot of fun but be careful going back to any of the pubs soon afterwards as you may not be a welcome sight !! Also, ensure everyone has a phone because you may get split up and need to check that any renegade team member is ok!! Second time my rugby club at uni did it, 30 went. 18 returned back to uni in via train or taxi. 10 slept at waterloo (though we reckon they just stayed at a hotel!) and the final two decided to go to GLASGOW!!! Didn't see those boys for a few days afterwards!!!

All in all, a lot of fun!!

I did it when I was about 21

the night ended in shame when I collapsed with the weight of a barmaid on my shoulders at one of the last pubs. She ended with a rather bloody nose

Either FHM or Maxim did it a few years back. Started off at a hole near the Elephant and Castle (Old Kent Road) and ended up at a swank Mayfair Hotel

I've done it

The actual drink isn't toooo bad... its the time you need to do all the pubs. We ended up drinking more in each pub so ended up missing pubs out. We also started at 6pm and ended back at Embankment for midnight ready to hit some clubs!

It's well worth doing... doing another in a few weeks!
