Hi All

Which of the Sussex regulars (and not so regulars) are planning to head up to VW on Sunday?

If there's enough for a convoy, perhaps we could meet at:

  • Fox & Hounds car park @ 10.30am; and
  • Pease Pottage Services @ 11.00am

So who's up for it then?

That's ambitious, you'll never make it for *that* time, Nuggs!

Can't make this one I'm afraid. Off to France snowboarding on Friday.

Funnily enough, I was only talking to Nick today about it all having gone rather quiet locally - and up you pop Nuggs!

As you already know Nuggs, I'll be in Paris but I shall spare a thought for you standing in a freezing cold, windy VW car park...honest, I will!

Snowboarding?... Paris?...

Jeez, you people need to sort your priorities out

Cosmos may be laughing now, but I've seen the weather forecast for Paris...

Im a non-starter on this one folks. Will be my 1st weekend at home for a few weeks. Was in Copenhagen working and nearly missed Valentines. Luckily the airport re-opened from snow in time

Hi Nuggs - Pease Pottage sounds good to me - almost ignored your post when I saw the thread title, wondered WTF TVR owners would be doing travelling to see VolksWagen?

Glad to hear you can make it Phil. Pease Pottage is quite a way out of your way so full marks for making the most of a driving opportunity

The Services @ PP are just off J11 of the M23 - follow signposts after turning off the motorway.

And VW is here:

Nuggs - which way are you planning to drive up to VW? If up the A24, which is a more interesting drive than the A23 anyway, it would be better for me to meet you at the usual MaccyD's service station.

Heard back from Nick yet?(I'll give him a call anyway)

Maybe his "chosen weapon" is otherwise engaged

See you Sunday

I got an email from him this afternoon. I think he's up for it, provided the weather's okay.

He said he'd take a look at this thread when he gets a moment, so hopefully he'll be dropping in soon.

Alex - re the A24, sounds like a good idea to me but let's wait till we know who else is joining to make sure it suits them too...

Are you joining this motley mob or coming down to Sussex

Hi everyone, would have liked to join you on this one, but suffering with that nasty virus thingy that's rampaging across the country.
Have i missed any chat recently? My computer went tits up just before the last pizza run, and I only got it back a few days ago.

Catch up with you soon.

Derek.

BTW Better take your snow chains with you, just seen the forecast!!

Would you mind if we joined you - we shall NOT be in our weapon of choice, but we keep missing these VW meets! We may not be able to keep up with you guys but we'll get there in the end!

Hi Phil if the weather is OK I am definitely going, and meeting the convoy at some point, the cars had a clean and I am looking forward to a blast out in the Tiv. The weather does like it might be an issue though as the Met office have given a serious weather warning for snow So will basically be checking the weather on the morning!

Send me your mobile number to my personal e-mail and I will give you a bell Sunday morning! I can meet you on your way past this way no worries be good to catch up again, will photograph only cars this time

Later

Mike
