Radiator/pipe explodes destroying the alternator and wetting the belt. Belt stops performing properly in turn causing power steering not to work properly, eventually coolant drops enough to making a warning.

Thanks for that. Sounds expensive. It only had its first service last
month.

Hopefully the engine hasn't overheated. Is it still under warranty?

Certainly it's only just over a year old.

It's a good thing that the car is still under warranty.

I mentioned in a post the other day that I'd seen a car at AM in Edinburgh that had a couple of little marks on it, on Friday evening I got an email from them via PistonHeads to say that all of the marks have been corrected and would I be interested in having another look. It looks like several of the AM dealers monitor PH, I wouldn't be surprised if there's a team at AM HQ that do the same.

Hi all be very careful here, just to warn, I do not know what ECU the car runs but I would be very surprised if they were not able to interrogate it in fine detail to give an exact account of the vehicles ECU events leading up to and including it's final moments, most usually as a basic record and it will reveal times and duration of most events that are outside normal operating values, and additionally and most certainly anything that has put a warning light on will be recorded, be economic with the truth to save your neck/wallet/pride but stray too far from the truth gets too close to deception and AM plus any legal matters will be compromised.
I was once on a motorway giving my car some serious what for when a water pipe went, unfortunately at that speed it took quite a while to notice any warnings plus quite an additional time to pull over safely, which was more than enough time to totally wreck the engine, I stopped as soon as I could safely, which was defense enough to account for the damage caused by a component failure which was covered by warranty. Sometimes less is more.

An ideal way for any business now to obtain market and customer feedback at almost no cost.

It is very possible, that the idea for the GT12 came from this forum. There was certainly plenty of discussion here, about just such a model.

Only last week, we provided free feedback about the computer panel dashboard plan.
Advice from owners speaking freely, must be so much better that a paid 'focus group', who say nice things in return for free catering.

Whoever is reading this at Gaydon, we wish AML every success for the future.
