Got offered a job today.

Well after 10 months of working as a temp for this company I have been offered a full time permanent job with great prospects and a good salary. Thanks especially to my lovely Judas and the fabulous Rude Girl for all of their support and encouragement.

So for those of you who are looking to change your career completely, please go for it, if I can do it anybody can!

Congratulations, chances are once you're in that job you'll be offered about 4 more

My dad was made redundant and couldn't get any work for ages, then once he landed a job, got offered 3 within a couple of weeks of one another, 4th last week

Just happened to me - no jobs going in the area, stuck it out (not literally) for 3 months in the "leisure sector", then took a job which hasn't turned out to be quite what I'd expected. Had an interview pending for another, then was offered 3 jobs in 2 days before it happened. I start one of these in 2 weeks' time
