Electric window motors

Hi All
Just starting to fit the door window motors, don’t know how many types TVR used, I don’t even know which type I have. I do know they won’t bolt into the doors, mine is a S1 (1988) it came with manual windows.
Looking for pictures of motors and door pictures.

Hi Alan,
Don't know anything about the winder motors, but if you have a functioning passenger side manual window winder mechanism that you no longer need, I'd be glad to buy it from you. My wife won't come in my S1 with me with a window in the permanently down position!

Early cars have a black motor, squarish looking

will have to take a picture , I got these from Norman, he got them of a white car, don't know which model it was. no window winders on as the guy was going to put electric on but never got time to do it, I got the car with them missing

Right, just taken this picture, not sure if it's N/S or O/S.

If you have this type and a picture of how it fits, I think as mine was manual I have no place for it to bolt to the door, could have been cut tight on the frame.

PS, Just found out they are from a Rover 800, 88/90, fitted to the S2 just need a picture of a S2 with electric motors with the door card off

That looks like the one, also looks like my door has no mounts, looks like they cut them off when the door was made.





Looks like I need to glass some mounts in. Thanks for the picture

you're welcome, you could pop rivet alloy plates in or bolt one it, might be easier and stronger than glassing them in.

Yes, some ally plates are in order, need to be quick before the painter gets his hands on it
