West Lothian members?
Discussion
In Edinburgh, so not that far away. What was the West Lothian question anyway ?

The west Lothian question(so named after the member of parliment who asked it) is, in the event of scotland having it's own parliment, why a scotish member of parliment can vote on matters that would now effect only England.
It is a question that Labour do not want to find a solution for, because they might find themselves dependent on their Scottish MP's for a majority.
Potential solutions might be that only English MP's can vote on matters that only effect England or that an English parliment could be set up to legislate on those matters.
Labour are understably not keen on either solution, but the fact that such a situation exists shows what a dog's breakfast Labour have made of Constitutional
reform.
