Late model Audi S8 V10 for sale
Discussion
hiya
I'm now seriously looking for a later model S8 v10. I currently own an Alpina B3 bi-turbo which is lovely but I need more space and have owned a 4.2 Diesel A8 before so I know what I want !
There is a grey s8 at Quirks in Essex. These are rare cars so I was wondering if anyone knew anything about it ?

I don't know that particular car - but I have owned 3 of these and from a quick look this is what i noticed:
1. It is a genuine later car (not just a late reg) as it has the button rather than the tacky finger print reader to start.
2. It is a low spec car - pretty much everything mentioned is standard kit. However, it is priced OK so if you are happy with that then no problems. Things I liked on my cars: B&O speaker system, adaptive cruise, TV tuner, rear seat entertainment, rear heated seats. Things I had that were not worth bothering with: massage and ventilation seats, solar sunroof, rear fridge and ceramic brakes.
The cars I had were all very reliable. Usual stuff to check is paintwork repairs (alloy bodywork means specialist repairers), all electrics functioning, wheels and tyres all straight and match. no drive-line knocks or noises.
Good luck with the search!

That's very true I just don't use mine I don't get the chance I've worked away a lot for the past year and just got a post abroad so will be used even less.
Go look at all you can, as you will know face lifted in 2007/8 to rectangle fogs LED rear lights Side repeaters in the mirrors nicer wheels ETC, they are an epic motor, and a very very nice place to be, a Miltek is a must, I switch from a very impressive ICE sound to the glorious V10 music, you really cannot help putting the windows down.
Carbon brakes were on my wish list but after test driving found them unresponsive and noisy around town, plus I replaced my discs and pads all around when I got mine for 325.00, the carbon stuff when or if you need them is truly horrific. as advised make sure all the gismos work, soft close doors sat-nav electric seats keyless start etc

Hi K20, I sent you a PM - I may be interested in the S8 if Alex is not in a position to press the button. Let me know if you got the message.
