HElP! I'm new to this forum. Had my TVR S3 for several years now and all's been well.
I decided it was time to remove the whole dash to sort out a low voltage/earth problem behind the dash. I've had the metal part off before so a dab hand at that bit.
Came out no problem in around 45 mins. However, I seem to have extracted a couple of wires and a connector with it and can't see where they're from. The connector is down next to the steering column but I can't work out / find where the other end goes. It has two soldered 3mm wide tabs on it.
Wires come out of main loom, Black and Light Green and Yellow. Connector both wires Blue and Brown.
Couple of photo links below.

Have any of the s3 expert out there an idea what it is?

Here's another photo showing where it goes into the loom. One wire Black, the other light green with a yellow stripe.

Yep, reckon the piece in the first photo should be attached to the (square) push button on the lower steering column cowl

Hi,
Spot on, it was the boot release; can't believe I missed that, probably panicking too much to notice. Spent an hour with a meter scratching my head as it looked like it went to a switch and I couldn't work out which one as it was soldered not crimped.
Panic over.
Thanks again
