Double Fatal Road Traffic Collision in Halewood

Merseyside Police is appealing for witnesses in relation to a double fatal RTC which occurred at around 3.38pm on Sunday 13th February in Higher Road, Halewood about a quarter of a mile east of Finch Lane.

A silver TVR Tuscan motor vehicle left the carriageway and collided with a streetlight. A 39-year-old man who was driving and a 28-year-old woman who was the front seat passenger both from the Runcorn area of Cheshire received serious injuries which proved fatal at the scene of the collision.

I have lost count of how many TVR fatalities have been posted/reported in the last few winter months. What's going on?

Truly sad news. Deepest sympathies to those left behind.
