PCM Bluetooth - deleting an authorised bluetooth device.

On my Cayman (2009 Gen 2) PCM system there are four authorised devices in the Bluetooth device list which were already there when I bought the car and must have been added by previous owners. The system only allows a maximum of six devices I believe.

I've followed the instructions in my PCM user guide but it is impossible to delete those devices, I've even tried the 'Delete All' option which only succeeded in deleting my own phones but not the other devices.

Has anyone else come across this problem, and is there a way to delete those old devices other than the way described in the user guide?
