Mobile skin, adds and my data usage

It's nice of ph to serve video/gif adds to my mobile, but as data actually counts perhaps you could stick to static images, if we must in fact have them at all...

Particularly the flux adds who I can assure you I will. It touch with a barge pole

Ad block, it's the only unfortunately as there seems to be no appetite to listen to user feedback on annoying ads which use up bandwidth.
