Don't blame the parking sensors because you reversed in to a wall.

I don't trust my sensors very much - the reversing camera I had in my previous C-class is something I'd spec in future since I still miss it a year on.

No suggestion for a repair I'm afraid. Reverse slowly enough you don't cause any damage next time wink

On the topic of parking sensors but not quite hating them yet..............
I have a 3 series with factory fitted sensors x4. They were working fine but a few days ago put it in to reverse and the warning sound came on (no pics on dash tho). I changed the fuse and still not working. I have listened for the clicks and all 4 are present. They are also clean. Anyone have any ideas what this can be please?

I reversed into the corner of a small but heavy wooden box at very slow speeds a few weeks ago. Slow beeps to indicate something being there but a good couple of feet away then instant flatline and a bump. I think the corner was exactly in between 2 sensors and it didn't pick it up. Lesson learned on that one.

Thanks. Would you recommend the one you used? I am also looking for a smart repair.

I've recently had the same sort of problem. Because my car now has front and rear sensors, I was reversing out of a space the other day and carried on into a metal post thinking it was the front sensors telling me I was close to the car next to me.

Nice dent down the rear bumper fixed by the local Chipsaway guy. First time I've used a smart repair service but I'm pretty impressed at the result. You wouldn't know it ever happened.

Another vote for Chipsaway - I had a pretty large scuff on the rear panel of my old E92 and some damage on the door from where someone keyed it. The repair was flawless (to my eyes anyway).

Hi can anyone help I brought a bmw 118d se 60 plate 4 days ago the parking sensors are not work and the light isn't lighting up on button when pressed and there is no fault on dash. I have checked fuses they seem to be ok. In 2015 the hole unit and sensors were change for a new one because of leak and the phone and voice control on steering wheel are not working either thank in advance
