PH exclusive: TVR Sagaris spy shots

Cars at the factory waiting to ship hit PH's inbox

Sneak pictures of a number of glistening new TVR Sagaris', resplendent in gorgeous colours and nearly ready to be shipped out to dealers round the country, have reached PistonHeads' inbox.

The dark green car is in a colour close to Jaguar racing green; the paint shop used a touch of gold to achieve the effect, we hear. We also hear that five are to be shipped to northern dealers, and five to the south.

Further scuttlebutt has it that the new factory will be in Bristol Avenue, Blackpool, just down the road from the existing plant. It will be a three-storey building with a showroom on the ground floor.

lots of green ones!? first time I've seen the final design, now looks like a modded t350c compared to the sci-fi show car. could be persuaded to buy, especially with the new 3 year warranty. overall, big thumbs up.

Personally I think the red one look georgeous (although I may be biased).

Would probably put the new design alloys on though, just to be a bit different.

As for the green ones

Is it just me, or does anyone else think that the dark green one looks somewhat like a Marcos from that angle??

In fact, remarkably like one.

Looks like a slight wide-angle-lens effect, but yes...

I just love the red one in the first pic. It looks perfect.

The Sagaris' looks has definetly improved from it's early prototype.

They look like cheaped up chavmobiles..what happened to design integrity..they remind me of those cheap no branded chinese toys you get..After lovely cars like the Cerbera, Chimera and even the t350 (?) these are a step back!

You and Stevie Wonder. Looks similar to the Rollcentre racing colours - OK on a race car so you can spot it on the track, but I'd hate to have to wash this on my driveway every weekend.

IMO Sagari (plural?) look better in dark, moody, "I'm going to eat you" colours.

Still prefer the T350 though.

No, you're not. I like it too.
I think it's a much better colour than red...
Red is way too obvious.

18" wheels are starting to look too small though.

Surely they should have put 19's on it whilst they had the chance, what with all the other bodywork mods.

got to agree with targarama here...

little add ons make it look like an accomplished modifier with not quite enough cash has been to work on a t350. doesn't quite look genuine to me.

it will be interesting to see how it ages - maybe i will end up chopping my t350 for one?! always amazed how cars i did not like often change your mind over time.... i guess thats why they are paid so much to design them

I'd be surprised if a car that light worked very well on 19's to be honest. 18's are far more practical. Especially if you want track day tyres!

Don't know if this has been asked before, but do the flat side exhausts have a practical advantage being that shape or are they only for style?

(I'm sure some chav's gonna be copying on his nova shortly!)

I'd have one in black!

I think it looks great - best colours for me are the chameleon green/blue and of course the red - however I do prefer the candy apple red colour which was at Le Mans last year.

As for looking like a chav mobile - suggest you don't know what a chav car looks like!!!

So Dream Machines - when are you getting one in that we can all drool over?
