Hello all, it's been a while since I was on here but I'm still a happy Cerb owner....10 years this year! Anyway, my Cerb is currently in Str8six for a body off chassis refurbishment. When the body came off, although the powder coat was shot to bits, the chassis tubes were all pretty good but that's another story. I'm putting my private plate on the Cerb so does anyone know where I can get a rear plate made that allows the number plate light to shine through please? Most plate places say they can't make them like that!

STR 8SIX had mine made up for me, I guess your car is in Newark so a call to Chas down in Oxon would probably get you sorted.

Google is your friend, backlit number plates, translucent number plates, or TVR number plates will get you to

Some years ago mine failed it's test for having no number plate light. I explained that it is back lit and they couldn't see it as it was broad daylight. They were having none of it so I proceeded to remove the plate to show them. Only to find there was no back light, not as in no bulb, as in no light assembly of any description at all, no wires, no hole, nothing. TVR quality control, love it.
