Birkin's and Caterham's
Discussion
I have a new Birkin Chassis, which I've never built up, (long story) I have wings for it that were built using a Caterham mold in Carbon (another long story). I've offered them up to each other and they are OK dimensionally, I can see no problem in putting the Caterham wings on my chassis when I'm ready.
My intention is to fit a cross flow engine ( I have a new Caterham Super Sprint 1700) and R500 front suspension, which I have, together with a Lotus S2 a frame rear end, pick ups on the chassis need to be modified for this but dimensions are all OK.

I don't know the exact answer to that, how are your Caterham wings fitted, if you get the Birkin Carbon wings with no fixing holes than you should be able to simply drill fixing holes to match.
I now a guy in Asia who makes 7 wings and noses, he has two molds, Caterham And Locost, the only difference I've seen are that the Caterham near side wing has a small 'wing' at the front inner edge, dimensionally they are the same. (is that still tereeon the ford engine withe the exhaust on the drivers side).
Same with the nose, he has two the Locost mold is is much higher than the Caterham one.
His carbon body kits 5 piece weight in at 8kg, not sure i'd put carbon on a road car, that may get a trolley bump in the super market.

Remember the Birkin is an official 7, both Caterham and Birkin started from the S3, they were sold the same drawings/copyright. If anything the Birkin today is more dimensionally like an S3 than the SV Caterhams.
An Aisa and Aus it is as common to see a Birkin from S Africa as a Caterham.
I have a 1700 Super sprint, that was written off after a few hours use, engine box and rear axle, I have a new Birkin Chassis that has never been built on, and I can access the body kits in China, so I have a Carbon body and Seat, with new R500 front suspension, Woolard alloy uprights and brakes, Caterham fast rack.
I have access to the skills to match the suspension mounts etc and build the A frame rear I want.
Been getting this together for a few years, but not had time to build, but various parts have been offered up to each other and there are no dimension issues.
As I say get the wings without fixing and mimic what you have now should be no issue.
My car is strange and will be race only.

I didn't realize you where in Aus, I'll get a price from my man in Malaysia for Caterham in Carbon if it helps, (but I am away for a few weeks) what do you want. He does rear, front and nose, he did talk about doing the front flat top aero wing but I haven't seen them.
Front wings you need to give me width as he does to your wheel
I was in NSW at westfield park a few months ago, great little track, just bought a share in a car in Sydney, so delivery may be possible.

Ideally just somme carbon rear wings like the Caterham items. I should just get theirs but the price is high. Other option is Carbon Mods, but they will have to go to my Dad in the UK and then be posted out here. I'm just trying to minimise the total costs, mainly the postage really.Front wings you need to give me width as he does to your wheel

I should have said that I wasn't in the UK! I'm off to Bathurst next month. The 12 hour will hopefully bring some enjoyment after my annual Le Mans trip ended when I moved out here.
