Looking at the first practice of Daytona the new R looks the business , as for sound though the Ford GTM is amazing ........ should a fun race...

I think new one , direct injection , the 488 on the banking also sounds amazing so much for turbo reducing sound

Yes just read the Porsche info , definitely the new engine from the new RS , so 4.0 lt Direct injection ....500 bhp with restrictors
Not sure about the RSR shape too bulbous lacks the curves of the R ..

Cheers for confirming. A chap on RL also said he's pretty sure it's the 4.0 RS unit. Rumour it's a more mid placement too (?)

This is great news. The situation was becoming quite rediculous. Now the race development program can start. Watching the in car footage, it's the chassis that looks most remarkable to me. The drivers work rate is very low which makes longer stints a lot less tiring.
