My tyres from Oponeo where delivered for the UK leg by DPD and they were shrink wrapped.

Try getting a quote from parcel 2 go. Tyres are pretty robust so seem to get shipped either with some shrink wrap around them or nothing at all other than some tape to hold the labels on.

I recently had 2 tyres delivered, they just used a standard courier and a bit of cling film. As said, tyres are robust and can be thrown about with impunity. If they can't stand being dropped on the floor under their own weight they aren't going to be much cop when some numpty bounces them up a kerb with a tonne of motor car on board.

Take it to the top of a very big hill and give it a push in the right direction.

I sold part worn tyres on eBay for a while about 20-30 per week.

I would tape them together and pallet / shrink wrap them.

If it's a single you can easily just send it as it is.

I used interparcel to book with and chose the UPS option it was costing about £10 per package

Correct answer. Next-day delivery for £11, and you can send two tied together for the same price. I used to use these guys for various large things sold on eBay, and always had excellent service. Have sent and received several sets of wheels and tyres through them.

Yep, costs for shipping tyres seems to be quite flat, but tread carefully, there are some over inflated prices about...

Oh and make sure your courier offers tracking.

TNT won't take it unless it's in a box. Plonkers.
