Be very pleased if somebody could advise on this, are Beru ignition coils the same as porsche orginal or similar enough ? They seem to be half the price and with 5 roasted on my 997 was thinking maybe porsche orginal are not necessary ?

Any thoughts much appreciated, and changing spark plugs what a great job on a 997 hey, to be fair I have the exhaust muffles removed so it's actually reasonably easy, with them on it must be a bit of a challenge.....

Hi genuine coil packs were made by Beru, the latest genuine ones are made by Borg Warner and are a lot chunkier with longer bolts. You can buy Beru ones from Eurocarparts and come with the bolts.
