I used a PH'er called Eddie Cain for my wifes Christmas present. Very pleased with the eternity ring he made for her as is she. I don't know Nightmare so can't comment. Piston heads name is ecain63. You can see some of his work on this thread

Eddie Cain recently repaired a ring for my wife .....fantastic job.....reasonable price .....super duper service.....I wouldn't hesitate in using him for a bespoke ring .......give him a call, he's a charming chap ( a bit like me really )
You had a ring repaired, you cheapscate, Shirley a new multi-million pound purchase was in order.
What will the boys at the 'Club' think of that, Farquhar will be besides himself, repair indeed.

Is Nightmare still the one to talk to for potentially buying a bespoke ring? Saw something I quite liked in Ernest Jones but would like to see about getting a price on similar but made specially.
Thanks
I have personal experience of trying to get something made by Nightmare, including a couple of visits to the shop. I wish I hadn't wasted several weeks of my time, and had gone to Dominic Hackett on here at the outset, who did a fantastic job on a bespoke ring for Mrs. Number 7.Thanks

You might find that independents like the guys we have on here can do the unique/custom stuff. Also have a look at the jewellers in your local town, if you find one doing work you like, that's a good start.
If you want a more standard ring and are more interested in getting diamond for your $, you could take a look at a site like www.bluenile.com/uk/ as they will often times be a good 40%-50% cheaper than the independents for the same quality of diamond.

Blue Nile prices are excellent....they are the largest diamond ring dealer in the world........purchased a large rock off them 8 years ago ......but it best to do a little homework on diamonds before you buy from them ....They offer the same certification on diamonds that any mainstream high street stealer does .....High street Stealers have 200-400% markup If you want a more standard ring and are more interested in getting diamond for your $, you could take a look at a site like www.bluenile.com/uk/ as they will often times be a good 40%-50% cheaper than the independents for the same quality of diamond.
