Drivers Door opening Randemly

Drivers Door opening Randemly when driving back from Warminster today must have opened about 10 times
Not good has anyone else had this problem as I need to sort it ASAP any advice on this guys

My passenger door started opening randomly after an accident repair a little while back. Turned out to be the "pusher" on the bottom of the door and associated switch in the car body had been moved slightly as part of the accident and/or repair and just needed re-seating.

Mine did this a couple of times, flushed out the latch mechanism with copious amounts of brake/clutch cleaner, let it dry and then a good blast of ptfe (dry) spray lube. Seems ok but if I stop posting for a while, check the hospitals just in case...

I had an identical problem in a Griffith when turning sharp left hand bends.

If the door latching arrangement is similar to a Griffith, check that nothing is moving around in your boot.

I had this a couple of times too, but only in very cold weather. I think the reason was a frosted up cable or something. Scared the pants off me the first time, especially as I was hacking down the motorway.

As already mentioned try giving everything a good clean and grease. I also found that my door opening knob does always spin back to the centre
