Creeks and squeaks V12VSR
Discussion
I didn't have the V12R but my V8R didn't really make much in the way of creeks and squeeks.
I would get a second dealers opinion, especially if your car is looked after where I think it is,based on profile picture.
Try taking it to works Service to get their opinion and try to get a look round the restoration area at the same time.

The service manager told me its because of the fabulously thick leather AM use.
Thats a new one……….
Which dealership came up with that little gem then…?.
I've had a few Astons over the years and I haven't had one yet that hasn't had the squeak and creek you mention,my V12SR was by no means exempt of the built in rattle and squeak syndrome.
As Kev says a trip to Works Service sounds in order,my latest one went there again for the customary de squeak and is fine now.
Yes the Roadster will flex more but I doubt the noises your experiencing are due to the thickness of the leather and can be remedied without to much trouble.
One hint to note as stupid as it sounds is to check the back rest of the seat isn't in contact with the parcel shelf as the vibration will instigate a squeak.
Seems like a trip to "Works" is in order.
My local dealer kept the car for 3 extra days to deal with the creaks and squeaks and then called me to say it was ready to collect.
I assumed that after 3 days they had cured them and no mention was made on collection otherwise.
No different at all!
In fact it was worse on collection as the passenger seat had been over reclined to the maximum and was rubbing badly.

Not good!
Why not take the service manager out in it over said rumble strips?
Or maybe record / film it?
Both excellent ideas………….Why not take the service manager out in it over said rumble strips?
Or maybe record / film it?
Then again you could take a salesman/buyer out in it and tell him you want to sell it………..I bet he'll pick up on all the issues to convince you it needs a lot of work
and is of course worth less.
Cynical I know……….sorry, so best stick with Northernmedia's idea's.
I would have suggested taking the Service manager out as well but if he's the chap with the "fabulously thick leather" line I think you'd be wasting your time so cut out the hassle
and just ring Works Service…..

"Works" returning my car

What a wonderful experience from the first contact right through to the delivery back to me today.
I dealt with David Webb at Works service and he has been superb throughout.
My car was collected and taken for its first service and for my niggles list to be addressed.
I said to David to keep the car as long as was necessary.
It has had new roof seals and door seals and cabin adjustments and is now sorted

Phew!! It was driving me nuts.
When they had completed and tested the car they even had a representative from Gaydon test it too.
While it was in the seats were taken out and the leather seat bases were tightened by the trimmers.
I planned to have it detailed this week before the Xpel PPF is fitted but it looks like works have already done it. My swirl marks have vanished

I also had a nasty scratch in the Piano black inside from a careless valet and David had that removed too.
Full service £780.40
Complimentary collection and delivery.
Niggles all sorted under warranty.
And to just make my day even sweeter I bought a brand new pair of 295/30/19 AM8 Pirelli Corsa, a left and a right, for £195 on ebay!!! Two different sellers.
Car is now at the paint shop and tomorrow the 2 rectangle holes for the front number plate plinth are being filled and painted so I can run with the tow eye mount instead.
Bought a Ferrari 599 last year (apologies) and even at 5years old I noted little "oily" smears on leather - told by stealer this was factory "lubricant" applied to minimise leather "creaks".
I certainly did not notice any ... Shame I missed the bigger issues - hence I am now pleased to own V12VS - fabulous motor (with or without lube!)

What's the tow eye mount?
Funnily enough I re-attached (sticky pads) my 3/4 size front plate and removed the screw spring clips from the rectangle holes managing to drop one inside the bumper in the process!
I had a thought that when I get the front resprayed in a couple of years I might also fill in those holes and run without a front plate!
Naughty I know

Be careful with the painter too, mine's just back from the main dealer after having some warranty paint repair work to both doors (corrosion!!) and they had a nightmare getting a match. They ended up having to get a specialist from the paint manufacturer to make a unique mix after various patch tests.
Flugplatz is tricky apparently.

I am so fussy on paintwork that I only allow one man to paint my cars and he has done so for the last 15 years. He has moved paint shop 4 times and I just follow him to wherever he chooses to work.Flugplatz is tricky apparently.
Luckily he's a genius so im not expecting any issues

Tow eye mount...
