I have a set of 4 lying in my garage. They are due to go on the bay of evils but I'm happier to assist a fellow TVRererer.

Drop me a PM if you're interested.

They are easy / obvious to fit. Wheel off. Cover on. Wheel on.

Do you mean this kind of thing, No. 5 ............ ?

That picture is from a TR6 parts book, I can recall similar things on older Fords (my Haynes '72-'74 Consul/Granada manual shows them) but can't see them in a Sierra parts book so may be Ford didn't fit them by then?

Guess it wouldn't be too difficult to fabricate, or modify something from another car scratchchin

I can't figure out how you'd fit such a thing confused

I had metal rear disk protectors on some old Triumphs, but cant see the point in them - They only seemed to trap stones and damage the disk more

On a related subject, if you are thinking about the plastic covers that go between the disk and the wheel to reduce dust on the wheel, don't either...had to remove mine a the bottom of an Italian Alp after they got too hot and started to melt... wink
