I managed to fill my air filter with oil on my airfield day (overfilled and a big big spin which managed to send the oil back down the oil breather pipe). No oil has got back to the engine via the butterlfy valves as it only went back up the pipes a couple of inches.
I am assuming the filter cant be cleaned so is the pipercross C3004 as per the parts list the correct one for the s3c?
thanks

There has been numerous posts about the air filter...
It is a C3004 IIRC but your best bet if you want to replace is contact David Gerald or Racing green as they have them in stock for the S and will send them next day...
There are kits that you can buy from Hellfrauds which are made by pipercross but personally I haven't used one, so I cannot offer advice...
When I spoke to RGreen they suggested using a cleaning kit first... But I didn't bother and just bought a new one...£30-35 IIRC.
You will need to cut a hole through the side wall and through the metal mesh so that the oil breather can be fitted.. Or you can remove the pipe and add a oil breather filter cap...
