What are people smoking when they make these prices up?
What makes me laugh even more are the dvla adverts with things like ET53 KRH Kevin Reg Harris on a plate!
I made an enquiry regarding LED 1 only a couple of days ago and nearly choked on my corn flakes when i was calmly told £25K.
I bet I could put the plate LED 1 on my van and it wouldn't cost anything like 25K in fines even if they stopped me!

Plate prices are comical to me:

Paid £800 for V15 BEN
Offered P2 BEN today for a fiver under £3000!

Only bought mine a year ago, that's some inflation rate

A911 TBO was recently sold for 8K by the dvla and then immediately re offered for £40K! Still for sale, on ebay now.

But V15 Ben is a 2 number plate. P2 Ben has one number. I've an EVO plate that has 1 number and I've been told it's worth double the equivalent 2 number plate. Still, that makes your plate worth double what you paid for it, so not all bad eh?

I have got B10VVN on retention, awaiting something turbo- or supercharged for it to adorn. It used to be on my Lotus Carlton. If anyone wants to add this to their Turbo registration plate collection for 20k, could they get in touch?

911 HS - which I guess would most would have a stategiclly placed black screw cap & a slant on the right leg to read R, is up for £10k

Yeh just wish I could sell it at that money! Seems unlikely as I ain't looking for a comical profit margin unlike plate dealers!
