Daytona 500

The NASCAR race is this weekend.

See 57 cars make several left turns and try to stay on the track (if you like that sort of thing).

Race is on Sunday. Speed Channel is carrying it in the States IIRC.

The tourists have been here all week...

I don't do it, but there is a man that lives down the street who is a prime NASCAR fan. He has two bigscreen TV's hooked up to cable just for the races and flips between the in-car footage (interesting to watch when there is a good battle between two with the in-car cameras)...
