Although I only had my last N430 for eight months I decided that I would like one with a few details upgraded in another V8 vantage. I had lots of man type reasons including the one about wanting one of the last manual vantages with 430hp. There are a couple of exterior carbon fibre additions, wing mirror caps and side strakes. The interior has the new waterfall also in a special weave of CF and although I liked the piano black it was impossible to keep spotless. I have looked at the quilting on the seats during a factory visit and loved it. The standard stubby gear shift was replaced with the DBS alloy as I feel the shifts from first to second are easier and it looks pretty good. It arrived with milled CF badges but I still preferred the gold Dragon 88 ones so they went on. It has red tail lights to match the brake callipers and interior red highlights. Anyway I am trying to run it in correctly before I drive around France for 2-3000 miles.

Your new car looks amazing, Malcolm.

Now on to your third Vantage, and your previous one for just eight months.
You must now be on the VIP list at Gaydon.

An interesting point about the piano black 'waterfall'. I had thought that might be the only option change I would have liked. After your comment, I am quite content with what I have.

Enjoy your new car.

Many thanks for the positive comments. I am very pleased with the new information/entertainment system. There is an addition to the tyre pressure monitor were it gives individual tyre temperatures, I read that the tyres should have warmed up before testing how good the traction is in corners so as soon as I have an idea what is hot enough I can give it a try.
