I need to send a gift to someone to say thank you but looking for some out of the box inspiration - I'd like something other than the normal wine and/or flowers.

Budget circa £100 - but that's not a target!

Any suggestions/recommendations would be great.

Do they have pets? A dog/cat/hippo portrait might not be a bad shout if done well.

Send something relevant to them. Only you will know what that is.
Think of their taste, home, garden, lifestyle, family.

If they have a nice large garden then a large tree (specimen) would be good. Not something too normal though.

Two guinea pigs, a hutch with "Thanks for <insert>" painted on the top, a water feeder, some bedding material and a decent size bad of food.

Different and about £100 I reckon.

They will not thank you for that..... On-going costs and a tie if you want to go away.

It is supposed to be something they would like.

Ah, I see - good point.

In that case I'll go back to thinking properly about how someone I don't know should thank someone else I don't know for a deed I don't have any insight into...
