Radio surround replcement

The wooden surround has cracked in the normal places, I'm looking to replace it with a similar wooden look , can someone please confirm how it's held in place on the later style dash with just the hazard/fog and light switches in it ? Not looking to replace the dash as that seems OK for the time being ,so rather hoping I don't have to remove that nightmare .

if you are talking about the lower panel, there are two brackets either side of the radio that hold everything in place. It has two screws on either side. Make sure that everything is measured and double measured before gluing with Araldite overnight (with plenty of cleaning and keying of both the brackets and the new dash!)

Resist over-tightening when re-fitting. I have done both mk1 and mk2 dashes and you definitely have the easier lower panel!
