Pic of ecu wires from bulkheads grommet

Gents , I need a pic of the wires coming out of the bulkhead grommet on a aftermarket ecu in the engine bay , I need to know do they come out under the Heater pipes or above them ? , just trying to route my cables , cheers

Had to hole saw a new hole for mine,there was no way my plugs we're going to go thro the existing grommet,it comes out bottom of the ns rocker cover slightly towards the centre of the car,have not used a grommet but will sikaflex the opening up now I have all my cables through,will try and take a photo tomorrow

Try and get them above as you want to rout them away from the header as much as poss, you could cable tie them along the top of the hoses and bring them out at the mid line of the engine

The position I have them in allows them to naturally head towards the valley so clear of the headers

If you thread the loom from the cabin into the bay you can use the existing hole and grommet.

Most of mine are routed under the heater pipes and go through the valley, apart from the coil pack cables that go over the heater pipes.

You can just use the stock grommet like Peter says, I run additional wiring inc oil temp gauge etc through there no problem

Sorry, no idea as that is one of the few things that I retained that the previous owner had or had fitted.

I would take the fitting that screws into the manifold to branch of PIRTEK or similar and ask them to supply the fittings/bend/adapters etc.

They have always sorted out my fittings off the shelf!

Boosted the female thread in the intake is 1/2 BSP if thats of use

I no longer use that on mine heater pipes are under the intake with 2 loops one for heater one for oil cooler
